Esri is hiring a Mobile Engineer II to enhance the ArcGIS Maps SDK for Android. You'll work with Kotlin and Android to develop innovative indoor GIS solutions. This role requires expertise in mobile development and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Who you are

You are an enthusiastic mobile software developer with a strong background in Kotlin and Android development. You have experience in building applications that leverage device sensors to provide real-time data, and you are passionate about creating seamless user experiences in both indoor and outdoor environments. You thrive in collaborative settings, working alongside engineers and designers to push the boundaries of technology. Your understanding of GIS and location-based services allows you to contribute meaningfully to projects that impact various industries. You are eager to explore emerging technologies and drive new initiatives that enhance the functionality of mobile applications.

Desirable

Experience with indoor positioning systems and familiarity with Bluetooth Low Energy beacons and Wi-Fi technologies would be a plus. You are also open to learning about new frameworks and tools that can improve your development process and the user experience.
