Overview

Rho is seeking a Founding Account Executive in Austin to drive new business and build relationships within the startup community. This role requires a strong sales background and a customer-first mentality.

Who you are

You are an experienced sales professional with a proven track record of success in achieving new business and growing existing accounts. You possess strong organizational skills and a natural ability to build rapport and trust with clients. Your sales drive is complemented by a customer-first mentality, which helps you create loyal and happy customers. You thrive in community-driven environments and are comfortable with frequent face-to-face interactions, making you well-suited for an event-driven role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and targeting high-growth startups in the Austin area for Rho's cash management platform. You will attend multiple in-person networking events each week to build relationships and engage with the startup community. Your primary goal will be to win new business in competitive sales against industry incumbents and newer players. You will also organize and attend Rho-sponsored events to foster community engagement and onboard new clients. Your success will be measured by your ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies that meet and exceed targets.
