Nuro is seeking a Lead ML Research Scientist to work on advanced machine learning methods for self-driving technology. You'll tackle perception, prediction, and planning problems using cutting-edge techniques. This role requires 6+ years of experience in machine learning.
You have 6+ years of experience in machine learning, with a strong focus on advanced techniques such as reinforcement learning and generative models. Your background includes a Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant field, and you have a deep understanding of foundation models and multi-modal LLMs. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy solving complex problems that have real-world applications. Your expertise extends to out-of-distribution detection and imitation learning, making you well-equipped to contribute to state-of-the-art autonomy systems. You are passionate about deploying machine learning solutions that enhance safety and efficiency in autonomous vehicles.
Experience with large-scale data pipelines and production-level machine learning systems is a plus. Familiarity with automotive-grade hardware and its integration with AI technologies will set you apart.
