You have a strong background in engineering management with a focus on growth, ideally with 5+ years of experience leading technical teams. Your expertise in modern web technologies such as React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS allows you to guide your team effectively while ensuring high-quality deliverables. You excel in metrics-driven environments, driving clarity and urgency across teams, and amplifying impact through strong systems, processes, and talent development. You are also comfortable leveraging AI tools and workflows to enhance engineering velocity and experimentation speed.

You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate closely with Product, Analytics, Design, and Marketing teams. Your leadership style fosters a culture of innovation and accountability, encouraging your team members to take ownership of their work and contribute to the overall success of the organization. You are passionate about mentoring and developing talent, ensuring that your team members grow both personally and professionally.

Desirable

Experience with mobile engineering is a plus, as you will be leading a small pod of mobile engineers alongside your web teams. Familiarity with data-driven decision-making and a strong understanding of customer acquisition strategies will further enhance your effectiveness in this role.

What you'll do

As the Engineering Manager on the Growth Engineering team, you will lead and scale high-impact web pods that accelerate customer acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention. You will be responsible for setting the technical direction and ensuring that your teams are equipped with the right tools and processes to succeed. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable, data-driven business outcomes.

You will oversee the development of web applications that provide real-time financial flexibility for users, ensuring that your teams are focused on building products that meet the unique needs of customers living paycheck to paycheck. You will drive the adoption of best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing strategies, and performance monitoring, to maintain high standards of quality and reliability.
