Technical Program Manager, Google Cloud Platform Reliability

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in a technical program management role.
• Experience with site reliability engineering, developer operations, and developer experience metrics.

Preferred qualifications:

• 10 years of experience managing complex cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• 10 years of experience managing execution of programs that span multiple engineering teams.
• Understanding of the product life-cycle in a fast-moving environment.
• Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $227,000-$320,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. • Lead cross-functional teams across large-scale, complex programs focused on GCP reliability.
• Direct a portfolio of strategic, complex, multidisciplinary programs that significantly accelerate business impact.
• Scale program management best practices for team and organization and adjust portfolio strategy to address complex changing circumstances across organization.
• Work closely with the engineering and product leadership team to transform the operations and effectiveness of the broader organization.
• Drive program strategy and lead program teams to deliver business, operational, and technical improvements, orchestrate across a set of cross-functional stakeholders.
