Overview

D2L is seeking a Release Manager for the H5P Group to oversee the deployment of innovative e-learning solutions. This role involves managing release processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance educational experiences.

Who you are

You have a strong background in release management, ideally with experience in software development and deployment processes. You understand the importance of delivering high-quality software and have a keen eye for detail. Your ability to collaborate with various teams ensures that releases are smooth and efficient. You are proactive in identifying potential issues and addressing them before they escalate, ensuring a seamless experience for users. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously. Your communication skills allow you to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders, fostering a collaborative atmosphere.

Desirable

Experience in the Ed-tech sector is a plus, as is familiarity with cloud-based solutions. Knowledge of agile methodologies and tools will help you succeed in this role. You are adaptable and open to learning new technologies that can enhance the release process. A background in project management can also be beneficial, as it complements your release management skills.

What you'll do

As a Release Manager at D2L, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating software releases for the H5P Group. You will work closely with development teams to ensure that all aspects of the release process are executed flawlessly. This includes defining release schedules, managing dependencies, and ensuring that all necessary documentation is in place. You will also be involved in post-release activities, gathering feedback and analyzing performance metrics to inform future releases.
