Earnin is seeking a Mobile Engineer (Android) to build and enhance features in their flagship Android app. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality user experiences. This role requires expertise in Android development.
You have a strong background in Android development, with experience building and maintaining mobile applications that prioritize user experience. You understand the intricacies of mobile codebases and are passionate about delivering high-quality features that meet user needs. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to create seamless user experiences. You are adaptable and open to feedback, always looking for ways to improve both your work and the team's output. You have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable code. In this role, you will be responsible for building, shipping, and maintaining features in Earnin's flagship Android app. You will collaborate with your team to design and implement user-centered experiences that enhance the app's functionality and usability. You will participate in code reviews, ensuring that the codebase remains healthy and scalable. You will work closely with product and design teams to understand user requirements and translate them into technical specifications. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and best practices to help them grow in their roles. As part of a fast-growing company, you will contribute to the overall strategy and direction of the mobile team, helping to shape the future of Earnin's mobile offerings.
