UpGuard is seeking a Sales Excellence & Methodology Manager to enhance the commercial skill development of their sales team. You'll collaborate with various departments to define and refine sales methodologies. This role requires strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.
You have a proven track record in sales management, with experience in developing and implementing sales methodologies that drive performance and growth. Your ability to analyze sales processes and identify areas for improvement sets you apart. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and success. Your strong communication skills enable you to effectively train and mentor sales representatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. You are results-driven, with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets while maintaining a customer-centric approach. You understand the importance of data in sales strategy and are comfortable using analytics to inform decisions.
Experience in cybersecurity or technology sales is a plus, as is familiarity with sales enablement tools and methodologies. A background in training and development will enhance your ability to lead skill development initiatives effectively.
As the Sales Excellence & Methodology Manager at UpGuard, you will own the commercial skill development for Account Executives (AEs), Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), and Account Managers (AMs). You will define how UpGuard sells, focusing on outbound strategies, discovery processes, qualification techniques, competitive execution, and conversion from trial to close. You will partner closely with Sales Leadership to ensure that the sales team is equipped with the necessary skills and methodologies to succeed. Your role will involve creating training programs that enhance the team's capabilities and drive performance. You will analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement, using these insights to refine sales strategies. You will also collaborate with Product Marketing Managers and Revenue Operations to align sales efforts with product offerings and market demands. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a high-energy, consultative sales culture that prioritizes customer needs and drives revenue growth.
