Software Development Engineer

This position involves developing network protocol software and embedded firmware solutions while effectively communicating technical concepts to diverse stakeholders. The role combines hands-on technical development with strong interpersonal skills to drive project success: Protocol Implementation: Develop, and maintain network protocol stacks (TCP/IPv4/IPv6, 802.11). Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize network communication efficiency and throughput. Standards Compliance: Ensure software adheres to industry networking standards and specifications. Integration: Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate protocols with embedded systems. Firmware Development: Write low-level code for microcontrollers and embedded processors. Hardware Abstraction: Develop drivers and interfaces for communication modules. Resource Management: Optimize code for memory, power consumption, and processing constraints. Debugging: Use specialized tools to fix hardware-software integration issues. Documentation: Compose technical specifications and implementation guides. Technical Documentation: Produce comprehensive documentation for internal and external teams. Stakeholder Updates: Present project status, technical challenges, and solutions to management. Multi-functional Collaboration: Work effectively with hardware engineers, PMs and QE teams. Knowledge Sharing: Conduct technical presentations and training sessions for team members.
