Experience with TensorFlow and Keras is a plus, as well as familiarity with data engineering practices. What you'll do

In this role, you will serve as the technical lead for the Safety ML team, defining and driving the technical strategy and roadmap. You will oversee the design, development, and maintenance of our AI/ML infrastructure, ensuring that it meets the needs of our users while maintaining high safety standards. Your responsibilities will include conducting technical reviews of code, design, and architecture, setting the bar for quality and scalability in our ML systems. You will collaborate closely with product, data science, policy, legal, and engineering partners to align on safety goals and deliver effective solutions that enhance user experience on Discord.

You will tackle complex challenges in machine learning, leveraging your expertise to innovate and improve our safety measures. As a mentor, you will guide individual contributors through design and experimentation, fostering a culture of technical excellence within the team. Your leadership will be crucial in raising the technical bar and ensuring that the team builds robust and high-quality ML systems.
