Overview

Rubrik is seeking a Renewals Account Manager for Strategic Accounts to manage the subscription renewal lifecycle. You'll engage with executive stakeholders and negotiate complex contracts. This role requires strong negotiation skills and experience in customer success.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in account management, particularly in managing renewals for strategic accounts. Your strong executive presence allows you to engage effectively with high-level stakeholders, ensuring that their needs are met and that they see the value in continuing their subscriptions. You possess expert negotiation skills, enabling you to navigate complex contract terms and pricing discussions with ease. Your ability to orchestrate internal resources across Sales, Customer Success, and Finance is a key strength, allowing you to align teams towards a unified renewal strategy. You thrive in a results-driven environment and are motivated by the challenge of retaining and growing revenue across a complex customer base.

Desirable

Experience in the technology sector is a plus, as is familiarity with subscription-based business models. You may have worked with top-tier channel partners and understand the dynamics of customer engagement in a competitive landscape. A background in sales or customer success can enhance your effectiveness in this role, as you will be collaborating closely with these teams to ensure successful renewals.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own and manage the entire renewal process for a dedicated portfolio of Strategic Accounts. This involves executing a high-touch renewal strategy, ensuring that renewals are initiated well in advance of expiration dates to maintain a high retention rate. You will proactively engage with both the customer's executive stakeholders and our top-tier channel partners to assess renewal risks and communicate the value of our offerings. Conducting mandatory internal Account Reviews for all renewals exceeding a certain revenue threshold will be part of your responsibilities, coordinating alignment with Field Sales and executive leadership to ensure a unified renewal strategy. You will develop and present tailored renewal proposals, quotes, and pricing, ensuring that they meet the unique needs of each account.
