Databricks is seeking a Manager for their Startup Sales team to lead and motivate Account Executives. You'll drive revenue success and develop strategic plans while leveraging your experience in data and AI sales. This role requires 3+ years of leadership experience in a high-growth environment.
You have over 3 years of experience leading high-growth sales teams, particularly in the Data, AI, or Infrastructure sectors. You possess a growth mindset and are passionate about developing first-time Account Executives into rising stars. Your ability to translate complex technical products into business value for the c-suite is a key strength. You have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and fostering trust-based relationships with employees, customers, and partners. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are skilled at building long-term relationships that drive revenue success. Your experience with big data and selling against open-source or freemium models is a significant advantage.
In this role, you will oversee and motivate a team of Account Executives, ensuring they meet and exceed their monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. You will develop and implement strategic plans that align with the team's development and revenue attainment goals. Your leadership will empower your team to effectively communicate the value proposition throughout the customer journey, enabling them to understand the commercial and business goals of customers. You will be responsible for driving revenue success and expanding into existing customer accounts, ensuring that your team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall sales strategy and execution.
