Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 3 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, management consulting, or venture capital/private equity within the technology industry. Your background includes experience in Internet, communications, e-commerce, or cloud sectors, and you possess a strong understanding of various financial models across the industry. You have excellent people management and communication skills, demonstrating effective business acumen and attention to detail. Your quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills are top-notch, allowing you to navigate complex financial landscapes with ease.

You are familiar with Google products and have a cross-functional perspective that enables you to engage effectively with various teams. Your experience includes consulting on legal terms and procedures, which enhances your ability to negotiate and execute transactions successfully. You are adept at building financial models and valuing companies, which is crucial for the role of Corporate Development Associate.

Desirable

Experience in consulting or venture capital organizations is a plus, as is a deep understanding of the technology industry. You are comfortable taking the lead on organizing due diligence workstreams and creating agreement approval materials. Your ability to defend your point of view with team members and sponsors is a testament to your strong analytical skills and industry knowledge.

What you'll do

As a Corporate Development Associate at Google, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's worldwide growth. You will identify, evaluate, and value acquisition and investment opportunities, working closely with the management team to support decision-making processes.
