Overview

Enviva is seeking a Pellet Mill Operator to operate and maintain pellet mills, ensuring optimal production quality. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures.

Job Description

Who you are

You are a detail-oriented individual who is eager to contribute to a renewable energy future. As a Pellet Mill Operator, you understand the importance of maintaining equipment and ensuring production quality. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and are committed to following safety protocols. You may have some experience in operating machinery or a related field, but you are ready to learn and grow in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will operate and maintain several pellet mills, ensuring optimal feed rates and monitoring pellet quality to meet company standards. You will assist in conducting quality control testing and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions. Your responsibilities will include analyzing equipment performance and making necessary adjustments to produce desired throughput and quality results. You will perform and document required inspections of equipment, maintaining it in good condition. Additionally, you will review work order specifications to determine materials and procedures for producing pellets. You will adjust machine components to regulate speed, pressure, and temperatures, as well as monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions. You will also coordinate maintenance on equipment and ensure that housekeeping standards are met. Following all workplace and job safety procedures will be a critical part of your daily routine.
