Overview

Smartsheet is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to drive strategic growth and manage client relationships. You'll leverage your sales acumen to navigate complex deals and deliver transformative solutions. This role requires strong relationship-building skills and a strategic mindset.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, ideally with 5+ years of experience in account management or a similar role. You excel at building and nurturing relationships with C-level executives, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions that drive value. Your strategic thinking allows you to develop and execute account plans that exceed sales targets and foster long-term partnerships. You are comfortable navigating complex deals and have a knack for identifying opportunities that align with client goals. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure client success and satisfaction. You are passionate about technology and understand how to leverage cloud-based solutions to enhance business processes. You are results-driven and motivated by achieving and surpassing your sales objectives.

Desirable

Experience in the software or technology sector is a plus, as is familiarity with work management tools. A background in consultative selling or solution-based sales will help you excel in this role. You are adaptable and open to continuous learning, eager to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth by exceeding software and services sales targets. You will develop and execute strategic account plans tailored to your clients, ensuring that you meet their unique needs and objectives. Building and nurturing strong relationships with C-level executives will be a key part of your day-to-day activities, as you become a trusted advisor and strategic partner to your clients. You will manage and expand relationships within your portfolio of accounts, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling Smartsheet's solutions. You will collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional value to clients, ensuring that they receive the support and resources necessary to achieve their goals. Your role will also involve analyzing market trends and client feedback to inform your sales strategies and improve overall client satisfaction.
