You have 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, with a proven track record of managing teams and improving system reliability. Your expertise in cloud infrastructure, particularly with AWS, allows you to design and implement scalable solutions that meet the demands of millions of users. You are skilled in containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes, enabling you to streamline deployment processes and enhance service availability.
Your background includes a deep understanding of monitoring and observability tools, particularly Prometheus and Grafana, which you use to ensure that systems are running optimally and to quickly identify and resolve issues. You are a strong communicator and collaborator, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams to drive improvements and foster a culture of reliability within the organization.
You are passionate about mentoring and developing your team, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles. You understand the importance of a positive team dynamic and strive to create an environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute.
Experience with incident management and response, including the development of playbooks and runbooks, is a plus. Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools will further enhance your ability to lead the team in delivering high-quality services.
As the Site Reliability Engineering Manager for the Cloud Monitoring Team at Apple, you will lead a dedicated group focused on ensuring the reliability and performance of Apple Services.
