Monzo is hiring a Senior Platform Engineer to build and maintain the infrastructure that supports their technology teams. You'll work with Kubernetes and cloud technologies to enhance Monzo's platform. This role requires expertise in backend engineering and cloud infrastructure.
You have 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, with a strong background in building and maintaining scalable infrastructure. Your expertise in Kubernetes and cloud technologies allows you to effectively support microservices architecture and ensure high availability and performance. You are skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams, understanding their needs, and providing the necessary tools and infrastructure to enable their success.
You possess a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and have experience with various cloud providers. Your knowledge of networking and service mesh technologies enables you to design and implement robust solutions that enhance system reliability and performance. You are proactive in identifying potential issues and implementing solutions before they impact the team.
You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy mentoring junior engineers, sharing your knowledge, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You are passionate about solving complex problems and are always looking for innovative ways to enhance the platform's capabilities.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code practices is a plus. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools will help you ensure the platform's health and performance. You are open to learning new technologies and adapting to the evolving needs of the organization.
As a Senior Platform Engineer at Monzo, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our technology teams. Monzo offers a competitive salary range of £95,000 - £130,000, along with stock options and a comprehensive benefits package.
