Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 5 years of experience in software development using one or more programming languages such as C or C++. Your background includes 3 years of experience building developer tools, including compilers and automated release systems. You possess a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms, and have spent at least 1 year in a technical leadership role. Your experience extends to developer operations, release management, and integration testing, and you have collaborated with open source communities. You are skilled in leveraging Python, Go, and Shell scripting to automate the management of server fleets and hardware components.

You thrive in environments that require innovative thinking and problem-solving. You are familiar with enterprise server or storage systems and have a passion for developing technologies that impact billions of users. Your ability to mentor and guide team members is complemented by your commitment to improving productivity through new practices and standards.

Desirable

A Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred, as is experience in large-scale system design, networking, and data storage. Familiarity with artificial intelligence and natural language processing would be advantageous, as would experience in UI design and mobile technologies.
