Lead Automation QA Engineer

Who you are

You have a strong background in automation testing with a focus on quality assurance — your experience spans over 5 years in architecting and executing advanced test automation strategies. You are well-versed in various testing methodologies and have a deep understanding of E2E testing processes, particularly in complex business workflows. Your technical skills include proficiency in AI and machine learning, which you leverage to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness. You are comfortable working with APIs and have experience validating data across multiple platforms. Your ability to mentor and guide junior team members is a key part of your leadership style, as you believe in fostering a collaborative environment.

Desirable

Experience with cloud-native platforms and automotive industry knowledge would be a plus. Familiarity with tools and frameworks that support automation testing, such as Selenium or similar, will help you excel in this role. You are also encouraged to bring innovative ideas to the table, especially in adopting AI-based test automation techniques.

What you'll do

As a Lead Automation QA Engineer at Tekion, you will be responsible for championing world-class software quality by designing and executing sophisticated automation tests across various business processes. Your core focus will be on E2E test automation, which includes validating data, APIs, and mobile applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the automation strategies align with business goals and deliver high-quality software products. Your role will also involve adopting AI-based test automation methods, including validations for LLM and RAG systems, to enhance the testing process. You will lead the automation efforts throughout the Lead-to-Cash cycle, ensuring that all aspects of the business workflow are thoroughly tested and validated.
