PostHog is seeking a People Operations Manager to enhance international operations and support the growth of their globally distributed team. This role involves managing people operations questions and scaling the team effectively. Experience in remote-first environments is preferred.
You have a strong background in people operations, ideally with experience in managing international teams. You understand the complexities of scaling operations in a remote-first environment and are comfortable being the go-to person for international operations questions. Your experience includes handling visa applications and sponsorships, and you have successfully scaled teams from around 100 to over 500 people in a SaaS company. You are passionate about creating a supportive and inclusive work environment and are committed to diversity and inclusion in hiring practices.
You have a proven track record of implementing effective people operations strategies that drive team success. Your experience in a fast-growing startup or tech company is a plus, and you are familiar with the challenges and opportunities that come with rapid scaling. You are proactive in identifying areas for improvement and are skilled at developing processes that enhance team collaboration and efficiency.
In this role, you will lead the international people operations efforts at PostHog, ensuring that our team members have the support they need to thrive in a remote work environment. You will collaborate closely with various departments to align people operations strategies with business goals. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing policies that support employee engagement and retention, as well as overseeing the onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for all team members.
You will also be responsible for managing the logistics of international hiring, including visa applications and compliance with local labor laws. You will work to create a cohesive company culture that transcends geographical boundaries, fostering a sense of belonging among team members. Additionally, you will analyze people operations metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, using data to inform your decisions and strategies.
