Amazon is hiring an Engineering Operations Technician to maintain mission-critical technology infrastructure. You'll work with electrical and mechanical systems to ensure 99.999% uptime. This position requires hands-on troubleshooting skills and knowledge of data center operations.
You are an Engineering Technician with a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems — you understand the intricacies of data center operations and are eager to maintain mission-critical facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the electrical and mechanical systems that power Amazon's data centers. You will work with stand-by diesel generators, UPS systems, and various cooling equipment to ensure optimal performance. Your expertise will help maintain the infrastructure that supports AWS services, contributing to the reliability that customers expect. You will collaborate with a team of engineers to identify and resolve issues, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and effectively.
