Desirable

Experience with diesel generators and fuel systems is a plus, as is familiarity with three-phase electrical systems. If you have worked with cooling systems, such as centrifugal chillers and air handlers, that would be beneficial. A background in AWS infrastructure services would also enhance your candidacy, as you will be supporting the backbone of Amazon's cloud operations.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the electrical and mechanical systems that power Amazon's data centers. You will work with stand-by diesel generators, UPS systems, and various cooling equipment to ensure optimal performance. Your expertise will help maintain the infrastructure that supports AWS services, contributing to the reliability that customers expect. You will collaborate with a team of engineers to identify and resolve issues, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and effectively. You will also participate in routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks, documenting your findings and actions to maintain compliance with operational standards.
