SeatGeek is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to empower product, engineering, and design teams with actionable insights. You'll work with Looker, dbt, and SQL to analyze data and drive product strategy. This role requires a strong analytical background and experience in product analytics.
You have 5+ years of experience as a data analyst, particularly in product analytics, where you've successfully connected business strategy to product data. You thrive in ambiguous situations and are passionate about identifying opportunities that enhance user and business outcomes. Your analytical skills allow you to synthesize complex data into actionable narratives that inform product development.
You are proficient in analytical tools and methodologies, including Looker and dbt, and have a strong command of SQL for data manipulation and analysis. Your experience includes independently leading analytical efforts, from opportunity sizing to experimental design, ensuring that your insights are grounded in both structured and unstructured data.
You excel at collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and engineering, to shape team roadmaps and evaluate the impact of various initiatives. Your ability to frame and evaluate experiments using industry-best methodologies sets you apart as a strategic thought partner in product development planning.
Experience with data visualization tools and a strong understanding of market trends will enhance your contributions to the team. Familiarity with causal inference methodologies and a background in the ticketing or live events industry would be advantageous.
In this role, you will partner closely with product, design, and engineering teams to shape roadmaps by sizing opportunities and evaluating their impact. You will independently lead analytical efforts, utilizing both structured and unstructured data to drive insights that inform product decisions. Your role will involve creating or improving key datasets and contributing to our analytical tooling ecosystem, ensuring that we can answer today's questions and anticipate tomorrow's needs.
You will frame and evaluate experiments using industry-best methodologies to isolate causal relationships and provide actionable recommendations. Your insights will empower teams to build magical experiences for fans and powerful tools for our partners, directly impacting the transformation of the live events industry.
