Overview

Figma is seeking a Manager, SMB Sales to lead a team of Account Executives and drive customer relationships. This role requires a dynamic mindset and experience in sales, particularly with Fortune 1000 customers.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales management, ideally with experience in the software or technology sector. You understand the nuances of building relationships with small to medium-sized businesses and have a knack for consulting with clients to enhance their experience. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams including Support, Design, Engineering, and Product Marketing. Your agile mindset allows you to adapt to the fast-paced nature of a growing sales organization, and you are comfortable embracing change as you lead your team.

You possess strong leadership skills and are passionate about developing your team of Account Executives. You believe in fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, encouraging your team to think outside the box and lift constraints that block creativity. You are a true team player who enjoys working with others to achieve common goals and drive revenue growth.

Desirable

Experience working with Fortune 1000 customers is a plus, as is familiarity with design software or collaborative tools. You are comfortable using data to inform your decisions and understand the importance of metrics in driving sales success. A background in customer success or account management can also be beneficial in this role.

What you'll do

As the Manager of SMB Sales at Figma, you will be responsible for leading a team of Account Executives who are focused on driving sales and building relationships with our customer base. You will consult with existing customers to ensure they are getting the most value from our platform, while also identifying opportunities for growth and expansion. Your role will involve setting sales targets, developing strategies to meet those targets, and coaching your team to success.

You will work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience, collaborating with Support to address any issues that arise and with Design and Engineering to provide feedback on product features that could enhance customer satisfaction. You will also partner with Product Marketing to align sales strategies with marketing initiatives, ensuring that your team is equipped with the right tools and resources to succeed.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of Figma's sales organization, contributing to the development of processes and best practices that will drive long-term success. You will be expected to stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings, using this knowledge to position Figma effectively in the market.
