Carvana is seeking a Brake and Tire Auto Technician to perform light maintenance and repairs on vehicles. This role requires at least 1 year of professional automotive repair experience and offers competitive wages and benefits.
You have a minimum of 1 year of professional automotive repair experience, demonstrating your ability to perform light maintenance and repairs on vehicles. As a Brake & Tire Technician, you are familiar with changing brakes and tires, and you possess basic mechanical repair skills for brake pads, calipers, rotors, tire installations, and wheel alignments. You are a team player who is committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience, even if it means working mandatory overtime based on business needs. You are at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license, with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
While not required, any additional certifications or training in automotive repair would be beneficial. Experience with state-of-the-art tools and technology in automotive inspection centers is a plus, as is a willingness to participate in training programs to enhance your skills and career progression.
As a Brake and Tire Auto Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and operational standards. You will change brakes and tires, conduct basic mechanical repairs, and perform wheel alignments. Your role will involve using state-of-the-art tools in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our operations. You will work closely with other technicians and team members to ensure that vehicles are delivered to customers in a timely manner, maintaining Carvana's reputation for exceptional service.
You will also participate in training programs designed to enhance your skills and knowledge in automotive repair, allowing for career growth within the company. Your commitment to teamwork and customer satisfaction will be essential as you navigate the demands of the role, including the possibility of mandatory overtime during peak business periods.
