Entry-level Auto Body Repair Technician

Who you are

You have at least 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience and are eager to learn and grow in the auto body repair field. You are detail-oriented and take pride in your work, ensuring that every vehicle you prep meets high standards. You are a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and can adapt to the demands of the job, including mandatory overtime when necessary. You possess a valid driver’s license and can communicate effectively in English.

What you'll do

As an Entry-level Auto Body Repair Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for prepping vehicles for paint. This includes sanding surfaces to ensure they are smooth and ready for painting, masking areas that should not be painted, and taping to protect edges. You will also be involved in bagging and unbagging vehicles during the prep process, as well as performing tear-down tasks when necessary. Buffing is another key responsibility, ensuring that the final finish is flawless. You will work with state-of-the-art tools in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, contributing to the overall quality of the vehicles we deliver to our customers.
