Block is hiring an Implementation & Onboarding Project Manager to manage the final stages of the sales funnel and drive onboarding processes for US merchants. This role requires strong project management skills and the ability to cultivate cross-functional relationships.
You have a proven track record in project management, ideally with experience in onboarding and implementation processes. Your ability to manage the final stages of the sales funnel is complemented by your strong communication skills, allowing you to effectively guide US merchants through the onboarding journey. You are adept at cultivating relationships across various teams, including Sales, Account Management, and Customer Success, ensuring a seamless experience for sellers. Your deep product knowledge enables you to educate and train sellers on leveraging Square’s platform effectively. You are comfortable with a customer-facing role that involves both remote and onsite interactions, and you are willing to travel as needed to support merchant needs.
Experience in the financial technology sector or with payment platforms would be a plus. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies can enhance your effectiveness in this role. A background in sales or customer success can also provide valuable insights into the seller journey.
In this role, you will manage the final stages of the sales funnel, working closely with US merchants to drive deals through to activation. You will be responsible for accelerating the onboarding process, ensuring that sellers are optimally scoped, educated, and trained to utilize Square’s platform to its fullest potential. You will cultivate strong cross-functional relationships with various teams to align on the seller journey and remove barriers that may hinder progress. Your role will involve anticipating and resolving obstacles by managing stakeholder communications and developing scalable strategies that drive consistent success. You will also be instrumental in documenting and tracking feature requests to inform future product roadmaps, ensuring that the onboarding experience continually improves.
