Amazon is seeking an Onsite Medical Representative to support workplace health and safety initiatives. You'll work closely with the WHS team to provide first aid and guidance on health and wellness. This role requires experience in health and safety practices.
You are an experienced Onsite Medical Representative with a strong background in workplace health and safety. You understand the importance of creating a safe environment and are committed to advocating for the health and wellbeing of employees. You have experience in assessing and administering first aid, and you are comfortable interacting with associates on a daily basis to provide guidance on both occupational and non-occupational injuries or illnesses. You are knowledgeable about OSHA regulations and have a proactive approach to managing health risks in the workplace. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working as part of a larger team to support safety operations.
In this role, you will join Amazon’s Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) team, where you will be responsible for providing first aid support to associates and making referrals to outside medical providers as necessary. You will attend weekly safety committee meetings and participate in case management reviews to ensure that all health and safety protocols are being followed. Your role will involve greeting new hires and providing them with essential information about workplace safety practices. You will also be involved in advocating health and wellness principles, ensuring that associates feel supported in their health journeys. You will work closely with the WHS Site Manager and WHS Specialist to implement best practices and resources that promote a safe working environment.
