You possess a background in mechanical engineering or a related field, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing complex systems. Your familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD and Arduino allows you to effectively contribute to the maintenance and improvement of robotics and material handling equipment. You are a team player who enjoys collaborating with others to achieve common goals and drive continuous improvement.

Desirable

Experience with pneumatic systems and automated equipment is a plus, as is a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. You are proactive in seeking solutions and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where reliability is key.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will work closely with the Operations Maintenance team to ensure that all material handling equipment is functioning optimally. Your day-to-day tasks will include troubleshooting issues, performing routine maintenance, and implementing improvements to enhance equipment reliability.

You will have the opportunity to mentor junior technicians, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles. This mentorship will not only contribute to their development but also foster a collaborative team environment where everyone can thrive. You will be involved in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing solutions that drive efficiency and effectiveness.

Your role will also require you to maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address any challenges that arise and contribute to the overall success of Amazon's operations.
