Experience in sales or account management is a plus, but not required. Familiarity with the food delivery industry or franchise operations can give you an edge. You are data-driven and enjoy using analytics to inform your sales strategies. A background in customer service or business development can also be beneficial as you navigate complex sales processes.
In this role, you will run your end-to-end sales process, utilizing your sales discovery and pipeline management skills to engage existing franchised merchant partners. You will excite these partners about the potential to increase their revenue share through DoorDash's platform. Your responsibilities will include connecting merchants with new tools and resources, ensuring that partnership terms are mutually beneficial, and driving sustained success through upselling and cross-selling opportunities. You will leverage internal data and unit economics to craft compelling narratives that resonate with your partners.
You will also be expected to attend trade shows and conferences, representing DoorDash and building relationships within the industry. Your role will involve regular collaboration with the Manager of Strategic Account Development and other team members to align on strategies and share insights.
