Lot Driver - ADESA Long Island

Who you are

You are at least eighteen years of age and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. You have basic computer skills and are comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. You understand the importance of safety and follow driving rules and principles diligently. You are detail-oriented, ensuring that vehicles are moved, staged, and parked correctly to support auction activities. You are a team player, ready to assist customers and colleagues as needed.

What you'll do

As a Lot Driver at Carvana, you will operate motor vehicles on and off the premises, ensuring safe transport, pickup, and delivery of vehicles for auction activities. You will be responsible for moving, staging, and parking vehicles in designated areas, following the directions of the Lot Manager or designated supervisor. On sale days, you will drive assigned vehicles through auction lanes, verifying VINs against transportation requests. You will also perform basic maintenance tasks, such as inflating tires and jump-starting vehicles when necessary. Your role will involve assisting customers, including dealers and account representatives, ensuring a smooth auction process.

What we offer

Carvana provides a competitive hourly wage ranging from $16.50 to $17. You will work Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, allowing for a consistent schedule.
