You are an Engineering Technician with a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems. You have hands-on experience troubleshooting complex equipment and are comfortable working with diesel generators, three-phase electrical systems, and cooling equipment. You understand the importance of maintaining uptime in mission-critical environments and are committed to ensuring seamless operations. You thrive in collaborative settings and enjoy working alongside diverse teams of engineers and specialists. You are detail-oriented and have a proactive approach to problem-solving, always looking for ways to improve processes and systems. What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating AWS data center facilities, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment, including UPSs, PDUs, and cooling systems, to prevent downtime and maintain high availability. You will collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify and resolve issues quickly, contributing to the overall efficiency of the data center operations. You will participate in routine inspections and maintenance tasks, documenting your findings and actions to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. You will also engage in continuous learning to stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in data center operations.
