Tanium is seeking a Director of Strategic Accounts to lead enterprise sales efforts and generate opportunities for the Tanium platform. This role requires significant experience in enterprise software sales and a proven track record of exceeding quotas.
You have significant enterprise software sales experience, generating and closing large and complex software transactions with the biggest customers in the region. You are comfortable engaging with C-suite executives and technical teams alike, articulating the value of technology solutions tailored to customer needs. Your strong team mentality means you understand that selling is a team sport, and you excel at managing and utilizing virtual resources to tackle large and complex sales cycles. You have a proven track record of exceeding quotas, demonstrating your ability to drive results and deliver a superior customer experience.
As the Director of Strategic Accounts at Tanium, you will be responsible for generating opportunities to position the Tanium platform within your assigned territory and accounts. You will articulate the value of the Tanium platform to decision-makers and expertly manage the complex sales cycle. Nurturing and developing relationships within your assigned territory will be key, as you present the value of the Tanium platform to C-suite executives. You will collaborate with the Partner and Marketing teams to define and support prospecting and sales efforts, ensuring a healthy pipeline management through appropriate sales development activities. Accurately forecasting and maintaining excellent SFDC hygiene will be part of your responsibilities, along with conducting online webinars or in-person presentations to generate qualified leads. Travel may be required as needed to support your sales efforts.
