Overview

GoFundMe is seeking an IT Administrator Intern to provide front-line IT support, focusing on MacOS users and AV setups. You'll assist with installing and maintaining Mac computers and troubleshooting network access. This internship is ideal for candidates with 0-1 years of IT support experience.

Job Description

Who you are

You are an aspiring IT professional with 0-1 years of experience in IT support or help-desk roles, ideally with a focus on MacOS systems and AV setups. Your proficiency in macOS allows you to effectively assist users and troubleshoot issues. You possess solid written and oral communication skills, enabling you to liaise with international teams seamlessly. You are eager to learn and grow in a supportive environment, contributing to a mission-driven organization.

Desirable

Experience with AV support for meetings and presentations is a plus, as is familiarity with cloud-based services and user onboarding processes. You are detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accurate records of assets, tickets, and support logs, ensuring efficient operations within the IT team.

What you'll do

As an IT Administrator Intern at GoFundMe, you will be the first line of desktop support, providing assistance both in-person and remotely. Your primary focus will be on supporting MacOS users, where you will install, configure, and maintain Mac computers, peripherals, and software. You will also deliver AV support for meetings, presentations, video conferences, and company events, ensuring that all technical aspects run smoothly.

In addition to desktop support, you will manage and troubleshoot network access, including Wi-Fi, LAN, and VPN connections, contributing to the overall infrastructure of the office. You will support cloud-based services and assist with user onboarding, including account setup and device provisioning. Throughout your internship, you will maintain accurate records of assets, tickets, and support logs, helping the IT team operate efficiently and effectively.

What we offer

This is a 10-week internship program running from May 27th, 2026, to August 7th, 2026, based in San Francisco, CA. Interns will be expected to work onsite three days per week, providing a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative environment. At GoFundMe, you will be part of a mission-driven team dedicated to helping others, and you will have the chance to learn from experienced professionals in the IT field. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
