Upstart is seeking a Senior Product Designer to enhance the user experience in their AI lending marketplace. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create data-informed and customer-centered designs. This role requires strong design skills and experience in user experience design.

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create user-centered designs that solve complex problems. You are proficient in Figma and have a solid understanding of design principles, usability, and accessibility. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers to bring ideas to life. You are data-driven and can leverage user research and analytics to inform your design decisions. You are passionate about creating inclusive and fair experiences for all users, and you understand the importance of empathy in design. You are adaptable and open to feedback, continuously seeking to improve your skills and the products you work on.

Desirable

Experience in the financial technology sector or with lending products is a plus. Familiarity with design systems and agile methodologies will help you integrate smoothly into our team. A background in user research or usability testing will enhance your contributions to our design process.

What you'll do

As a Senior Product Designer at Upstart, you will be responsible for designing intuitive and engaging user experiences for our lending marketplace.
