Overview

LaunchDarkly is seeking a Senior Field Operations Manager to support their Global Growth sales organization. You'll build relationships with sales leadership and improve operational processes. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a proven track record in field operations management, ideally with experience in sales organizations. Your ability to build trusted relationships with sales leadership and frontline managers allows you to understand day-to-day challenges and operational needs deeply. You synthesize qualitative feedback with quantitative data to form a balanced perspective that drives improvements. You thrive in high-velocity environments and enjoy creating order out of ambiguity, balancing empathy with accountability. Your proactive planning skills help leaders avoid reactive measures, ensuring smooth operations.

Desirable

Experience in a technology or SaaS company is a plus, as is familiarity with sales enablement and revenue operations. You are comfortable working with cross-functional teams and can translate strategic goals into actionable workflows. Your analytical mindset enables you to identify patterns and themes across the field, which you can translate into clear recommendations for improvement.

What you'll do

In this role, you will serve as an embedded, consultative business partner to sales leadership and their teams. You will help bring structure and clarity to how the business operates by strengthening operating rhythms and improving forecast quality. Your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with Sales Enablement, RevOps, Data & Insights, Marketing, and other go-to-market teams to ensure that strategies are effectively executed in the field. You will analyze sales processes and identify areas for improvement, helping to reduce surprises across pipeline and deal progression. Your insights will be crucial in enhancing the overall efficiency of the sales organization.
