What you'll do

In this role, you will define and lead the communications strategy for OpenAI's global infrastructure platform. You will work closely with the Infrastructure, Finance, and Policy teams to craft narratives around major infrastructure milestones, ensuring that the story of OpenAI's compute strategy and chip development is communicated effectively. You will oversee the development of press releases, media kits, and other communication materials that highlight OpenAI's advancements in AI infrastructure. Your role will involve engaging with media outlets, preparing executives for interviews, and managing public appearances to enhance OpenAI's visibility and reputation.

You will also be responsible for developing content for social media and community engagement initiatives, helping to foster a deeper understanding of OpenAI's mission and values. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that all communications align with OpenAI's strategic goals and messaging. You will monitor media coverage and public sentiment, providing insights to leadership on how to adapt communications strategies as needed. Your work will play a crucial role in positioning OpenAI as a leader in responsible AI infrastructure development.
