What you'll do

In this role, you will set the vision and strategy for applying machine learning to Trust & Safety at Reddit. You will lead a team dedicated to developing proactive measures against evolving abuse patterns, ensuring that the platform remains a safe and welcoming space for users. You will oversee the roadmap for safety and moderation ML initiatives, driving the development and deployment of models that effectively detect and prevent harmful content and behavior.

You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and safety operations teams to innovate on real-time detection and automation systems. Your role will involve mentoring and growing your team, fostering an environment where creativity and technical excellence thrive. You will also be responsible for communicating the impact of your team's work to stakeholders across the organization, ensuring alignment with Reddit's mission and values.
