Overview

Waymo is seeking an Ops Specialist for Field Monitoring to support its autonomous driving technology initiatives. This role involves monitoring operations and ensuring the safety and efficiency of the Waymo Driver. Candidates should have relevant experience in operations management.

You have a background in operations management, ideally with experience in monitoring and improving operational processes. You understand the importance of safety and efficiency in the context of autonomous driving technology and are committed to ensuring that operations run smoothly. You possess strong analytical skills and can assess data to make informed decisions. You are a team player who collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. You are adaptable and can thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift quickly. You are detail-oriented and take pride in maintaining high standards in your work.

Desirable

Experience in the automotive or technology sectors is a plus, as is familiarity with autonomous systems. A background in data analysis or project management would also be beneficial. You are proactive in identifying areas for improvement and have a track record of implementing successful operational strategies.

What you'll do

In this role, you will monitor field operations to ensure the safety and efficiency of the Waymo Driver. You will analyze operational data to identify trends and areas for improvement, working closely with engineering and safety teams to implement necessary changes. You will be responsible for reporting on operational performance and making recommendations to enhance processes. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure that all operational activities align with Waymo's mission and standards. You will participate in training and development initiatives to enhance team capabilities and operational effectiveness. You will also engage in regular communication with team members to foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Waymo offers a competitive salary range of ₹2,900,000—₹3,510,000 INR for this full-time position, along with eligibility for an annual bonus program and equity incentive plan.
