Handshake is seeking a Food Service Manager - AI Trainer to contribute to an AI research project. You'll leverage your professional experience to evaluate AI models and provide feedback. This role is remote and flexible, requiring at least 4 years of relevant experience.
You have at least 4 years of professional experience in food service management or related fields. Your background includes responsibilities such as counting money, making bank deposits, and establishing standards for personnel performance and customer service. You are familiar with keeping records required by government agencies regarding sanitation or food subsidies, and you have experience scheduling staff hours and assigning tasks effectively. You are comfortable working independently and can adapt to flexible hours, averaging 5-20 hours per week. You are eager to learn new skills and contribute to the development of AI in your field, even if you do not have prior AI experience.
In this role, you will evaluate AI models based on your professional experience in food service management. You will assess the content generated by AI models and provide structured feedback to enhance their understanding of workplace tasks and language. Your work will involve developing prompts that accurately reflect your field and evaluating the responses generated by the AI. You will participate in an ongoing project that runs year-round, with opportunities opening periodically across different areas of expertise. Your placement in a project will depend on availability, and you will have the chance to contribute to how AI is utilized in the food service industry.
