You have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in hardware reliability and quality assurance processes. You understand the importance of monitoring production non-conformance and have a keen eye for detail when it comes to identifying defects. Your ability to collaborate effectively with design engineers, production teams, and supply chain partners is essential for success in this role. You are proactive in implementing corrective actions and process improvements to maintain high standards of quality across production build cells. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about working on cutting-edge technology that supports national security efforts.
As a Hardware Reliability Specialist at SpaceX, you will be responsible for executing production non-conformance management processes, including managing the material review board (MRB) and conducting quality audits. You will analyze defects and prioritize issues that require immediate attention, ensuring that corrective actions are implemented effectively. Your role will involve running production containments and collaborating with various teams to drive process improvements. You will build strong relationships with design engineers and the reliability team to enhance product performance and reliability.
