Google is seeking a Customer Logistics Regional Manager to oversee logistics deployment and installation processes related to customer orders. You'll work cross-functionally with various teams to ensure efficient delivery and high customer satisfaction. This role requires 10 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management.
You have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field, along with 10 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or customer service roles. Your focus has been on customer-facing logistics, and you have at least 5 years of experience in people management. You possess a customer-centric mindset and are committed to providing exceptional service. Your understanding of logistics principles, transportation modes, warehousing operations, and international shipping is strong, and you have excellent communication, people management, and presentation skills. You are adept at interpreting data and making informed decisions, showcasing your problem-solving abilities.
A Master’s degree or equivalent practical experience is preferred. You have a proven track record of managing logistics processes and resolving customer issues effectively. Your ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a changing environment sets you apart. You thrive in roles that require strong problem-solving and communication skills, coupled with a deep understanding of logistics principles and customer service excellence.
As a Customer Logistics Regional Manager, you will oversee and optimize the logistics deployment and installation processes related to customer orders. You will serve as the primary point of contact for customer logistics inquiries and work cross-functionally with sales, order planning, operations, warehouse, and transportation teams to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective delivery and installation of goods. Your role will involve maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction while driving operational excellence by monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and generating reports to identify trends, optimize processes, and reduce transportation costs. You will lead logistics improvement projects and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to enhance overall service quality, order accuracy, and operational efficiency.
