What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Loyalty & Membership team, you will design and implement features that enhance the grocery shopping experience for millions of customers. You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Data Science teams to understand user needs and translate them into technical solutions. Your role will involve writing clean, maintainable code and participating in code reviews to ensure high standards are met.

You will be responsible for system architecture decisions, ensuring that the solutions you build are scalable and efficient. You will also monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise, working proactively to improve system reliability and user satisfaction. Your contributions will directly impact the success of Instacart's loyalty programs and customer engagement strategies.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, helping them grow in their careers and fostering a collaborative team environment. You will participate in sprint planning and retrospectives, contributing to the continuous improvement of team processes and practices.
