Neuralink is hiring a Prototype & Design Specialist to support the engineering and manufacturing teams in creating groundbreaking medical devices. You'll design lab spaces and optimize workflows using tools like AutoCAD and SolidWorks. This role requires experience in engineering lab design and operations.
You have a strong background in engineering lab design and operations, with experience in creating efficient and collaborative environments for engineering and manufacturing teams. Your expertise in tools like AutoCAD and SolidWorks enables you to design and build lab spaces that meet evolving needs. You are proactive in continuously improving lab capabilities and operations by implementing new technologies and optimizing workflows for efficiency. You understand the importance of maintaining inventory and managing lab equipment, ensuring that all tools and resources are readily available for team members.

As a Prototype & Design Specialist at Neuralink, you will play a pivotal role in designing and building lab spaces that foster innovation and collaboration among engineering and manufacturing teams. You will be responsible for continuously improving lab capabilities by implementing new technologies and optimizing workflows to enhance efficiency. Your role will involve managing the inventory of lab equipment, ensuring that all tools, chemicals, and resources are available for team members to utilize effectively.
You will collaborate closely with engineers and manufacturing personnel to understand their needs and translate them into actionable designs for lab spaces. Your expertise in AutoCAD and SolidWorks will be essential in creating detailed layouts and plans that maximize the functionality of the lab environment. You will also be involved in the testing and evaluation of new equipment and technologies, ensuring that the lab remains at the forefront of innovation in the medical device field.
In addition to your design responsibilities, you will facilitate communication and collaboration among team members, helping to create a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. You will support the company's growth by streamlining operations and optimizing resource utilization, ensuring that the lab operates efficiently and effectively.
