Overview

GoFundMe is hiring a Governance, Risk and Compliance Technical Analyst Intern to support the GRC team in coordinating audit requests and building the PCI audit program. This role is ideal for entry-level candidates looking to gain experience in compliance and risk management.

Who you are

You are an entry-level candidate eager to learn about Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) in a real-world setting. You possess strong communication skills and are comfortable working with various stakeholders across an organization. You are detail-oriented and have a keen interest in understanding compliance frameworks and audit processes. What you'll do

In this internship, you will coordinate external auditor requests and facilitate meetings with Information Technology, Engineering Teams, Security, and Control Owners. You will assist in gathering evidence for IT control reviews and help build out the PCI audit program. Your role will involve creating communication portfolios and customer journeys to ensure consistency in reaching audit goals. You will also note potential opportunities, risks, or complications that may arise during the audit process. Throughout the internship, you will gain hands-on experience in compliance and risk management, working closely with experienced professionals in the field.
