Amazon is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to join their Reliability Maintenance Engineering Team in Graben. You'll be responsible for the maintenance and repair of technical systems and equipment, ensuring high safety standards and minimizing downtime.
As a maintenance technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of our conveyor and building technology systems as well as production equipment. You will help ensure the highest safety standards in occupational safety and prevent machine downtimes. You are proactive in executing preventive maintenance measures on a wide variety of devices at our locations, conducting repairs and troubleshooting as needed. You are familiar with the latest tools to maximize equipment effectiveness and adhere to all occupational safety guidelines and practices. You will also support the development and professional advancement of apprentices at the site, working on projects for continuous improvement and the introduction of best practices across various EU locations.
In your role as a maintenance technician, you will be on-site at one of our logistics centers to respond quickly to technical disruptions. You will carry out a series of planned preventive maintenance measures on equipment to ensure their safe operation. Additionally, you will respond promptly to disruptions and failures, investigating the causes and finding solutions as quickly as possible. Your work will be fundamental to maintaining the operational efficiency of our technical systems and ensuring that our equipment is always available and functioning optimally.
