Rackspace is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer (L2) to maintain and support internal infrastructure for their UK Sovereign Cloud team. You'll work with Windows, Linux, and Firewall technologies in a high-security environment.
You have a strong background in infrastructure engineering, with experience in maintaining and supporting internal systems. You thrive in high-trust, high-security environments and are comfortable working across a broad range of technologies, including Windows, Linux, and Firewall platforms. Your proactive approach ensures that you can effectively contribute to the reliability and performance of internal systems. You understand the importance of compliance and are willing to participate in an on-call rota to provide out-of-hours support. Experience with the UK Public Sector is a plus, and you must be able to pass an SC Security Check and potentially a DV security check in the future.
Experience in cloud technologies and managed services will be beneficial. Familiarity with automation tools and best practices in infrastructure management will set you apart. You are a team player who enjoys collaborating with others to solve complex problems and improve system performance.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and evolving the internal infrastructure that underpins Rackspace's secure, sovereign cloud environment.
