Google is seeking an Associate Product Counsel for their Cloud Strategic Growth team to provide legal guidance on compliance and regulatory issues. You'll work with AI tools and collaborate with various teams to ensure product compliance. This role requires a JD or equivalent legal experience and 3 years in a legal capacity.
You have a JD, LL.B., or equivalent degree and are admitted to the bar, with at least 3 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or at a law firm. Your expertise includes working with regulations in areas such as privacy, data use, AI, competition, content, and financial services. You have experience advising enterprise or cloud companies and are skilled in utilizing AI tools to streamline legal support. You possess excellent organizational skills, enabling you to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Your investigative, problem-solving, and communication skills allow you to explain complex legal issues clearly to non-legal stakeholders. You thrive in collaborative environments and are ready to partner with various teams to influence business initiatives.
Experience with emerging regulations and the ability to develop knowledge on first-of-a-kind issues is a plus. You are proactive in assessing compliance strategies and advocating for cloud product compliance. Your ability to support commercial teams globally on customer concerns regarding compliance will be invaluable.
As an Associate Product Counsel at Google, you will work on exciting legal issues that arise from disruptive technological innovations.
