We’re looking for a Senior Staff Software Engineer with 10+ years of experience to play a critical role in shaping the technical direction of our platform and guiding teams as we scale. This role is both highly technical and highly collaborative — you’ll design and build complex systems, mentor engineers across levels, and influence technical strategy across multiple teams.

What we are looking for:

Experience

• A seasoned engineer with minimum 8 years of experience designing, building, and scaling complex systems

• Proven experience with Python and Django/Django REST Framework in production environments

• Strong front-end development skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React

• Deep understanding of relational and non-relational databases, especially PostgreSQL and Redis

• Hands-on experience with AWS (Fargate, ECR, S3) and modern CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)

• Exposure to or interest in AI/ML tools such as PydanticAI, OpenAI APIs, and agentic AI development

• Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineers across levels

Core skills

• Design and build complex systems that span multiple teams

• Evaluate and introduce new technologies in a strategic, pragmatic way

• Create reusable architectural patterns and frameworks that raise the engineering bar

• Deeply understand system dependencies and interactions across the stack

• Identify and address technical debt at the system level to ensure long-term reliability
