Overview

Amazon is hiring an Advertising Sales Manager for the Nordics to drive advertising revenue through strategic partnerships. You'll leverage your media experience to sell video and connected TV advertising solutions. This role requires strong client-side relationships and a deep understanding of the local advertising ecosystem.

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in media sales, particularly in digital advertising, where you've successfully driven revenue through strategic partnerships with ad agencies and direct advertisers. Your consultative approach allows you to understand client needs deeply, and you excel at influencing buying decisions to maximize revenue streams. You possess a strong understanding of the local advertising ecosystem, especially in the Nordic region, and have established relationships with senior clients and agencies that you can leverage to position Amazon as a key strategic partner.

You are adept at employing objective-led selling techniques across various advertising solutions, including brand-building initiatives on platforms like Prime Video and Twitch. Your ability to orchestrate in-person inspiration sessions demonstrates your commitment to creating comprehensive full-funnel solutions for clients. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are excited about the opportunity to shape the streaming TV and video landscape in the region as Prime Video launches in Sweden in 2025.

Desirable

Experience with video and connected TV advertising solutions is a plus, as is familiarity with the latest trends in digital advertising. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to the evolving needs of clients and the market. A background in analytics tools such as Google Analytics will help you provide data-driven insights to your clients.

What you'll do

In this role, you will generate advertising revenue by establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships with ad agencies and direct advertisers. You will employ a consultative selling approach to understand client objectives and tailor advertising solutions that meet their needs. Your responsibilities will include influencing buying decisions to drive increased revenue from existing advertisers while also cultivating new revenue streams.

You will work closely with the broader retail media portfolio to create comprehensive solutions that span brand-building and full-funnel advertising strategies. Your role will involve orchestrating in-person inspiration sessions to showcase Amazon's advertising capabilities and position the company as a key strategic partner for both new and existing clients.

You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that advertising solutions are effectively implemented and optimized for client success. Your insights into the local advertising ecosystem will be invaluable as you navigate client relationships and drive results.
