What you'll do

In this role, you will own platform programs that span various engineering organizations, including Dasher & Logistics, Marketplace, Merchant, and New Verticals. You will partner closely with key engineering and product leaders to establish the vision, strategy, and technical direction for your programs. Your focus will be on executing strategic projects that enable multi-vertical scale and adoption by product engineering teams. You will be responsible for planning and executing optimizations that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of engineering processes. Your role will involve regular communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.

You will also be tasked with evangelizing platform visions and driving initiatives that support the growth and profitability of local economies through improved merchant operations. Your ability to facilitate discussions and coordinate efforts across teams will be crucial in achieving project milestones and delivering impactful results. You will report into the centralized Technical Program Management team in Engineering, contributing to the overall success of DoorDash's engineering initiatives.
